MT4 rarely connects you straight to the machine that matches your orders. The terminal contacts an access server, which then redirects it to a trade server that may be somewhere else entirely. The address published in your terminal is therefore the front door, not the kitchen.
This matters when reading our numbers. We measure the published address, so where a broker's access point sits far from its matching engine our figure reads worse than the connection you will actually get. We have seen a 162ms measured access point whose real terminal ping was 8ms. We do not silently correct for it, because only a live terminal on that account can reveal it.
If your MT4 measured figure looks implausibly bad next to the distance, check the terminal's own reported ping before assuming the region is wrong. If they agree, the region shown here is the closest we can sell.

Yes. Windows with MT4 and MT5 pre-installed, and you can install the broker's branded MT4 over the top. Most branded builds are the same terminal with a fixed server list.
A single MT4 server name is frequently a shared login for several regional bridge servers at once, so it can legitimately have addresses in multiple countries. We match against whichever of those is closest to a region we sell and say so on the page.
Almost always the access-server redirect described above: we measured the published front door, and your terminal was redirected to a trade server elsewhere. Compare against the terminal's own figure before discounting the region.
Prices shown were live as of 2026-09-02 -- confirm the final price at checkout. Latency figures are measured TCP round-trips to the broker's own published address, not estimates, and are dated per server on that server's own page.
